Hiking – Pawnee Buttes

I will send out an email a week before detailing when and where to meet to form carpools.

Wildflower and photography hike through Pawnee National Grassland to Pawnee Buttes in northeastern Colorado not far from the Nebraska border. We will hike at a casual pace to the buttes allowing time to enjoy and photograph the spring flowers and landscape. While the main trail is open year-round, there are rapture closures until June 30, which includes the buttes themselves as well as a side trail. Our hike will be at a casual pace to allow wildflower identification and photography. All types of cameras are encouraged including phone cameras.
