Hiking – Staunton State Park
We will begin this trip with a private tour of the Historic Staunton cabin by a Staunton volunteer specialist who will tell us the history of the park and restored Historic Cabin. After approximately 1 hr we will continue the tour on our own of the rest of the buildings. Then we will loop down to Davis Ponds for a snack & break

This will be a leisurely hike, 1.5 mph. Our pace will be comfortable for all group members. We are going an hour later as there is another CMC trip that will tour the cabin at 9am. We will tour the cabin at 10am, then take trail to Davis Ponds and have lunch. We will return to our cars, stopping at other cabins if its not too hot and time allows.
meet at 8:45AM, depart sharp at 9AM. Meet at the Fort Restaurant, Morrison. Please park at the south end of paved parkikng on the street. DO NOT go down into the Fort Restaurant parking area lower and closer to the building.
