In Montrose, meet at "RV Parking" area on North 2nd Street at 8:30 to arrange carpooling.  Access road is rough and 4WD is best.  30-40 min to trailhead. 

$3/per person BLM fee at trailhead, bring small bills or check. 

7.1 mi hike, 1452 ft elevation. Descent to Gunnison River and back. Exploring and fishing at river for an hour or so.  Bring a great lunch. $3/per person BLM fee at trailhead, bring small bills or check.
