This is a CMC Bobcats trip.  The Bobcats mission is to ensure a variety of challenging CMC trips, mostly on weekdays, all year long, for our mostly 50+ constituents. We don't have dues or elections and we invite ALL CMC members to sign up for any Bobcat trip. You can search the CMC Calendar for Bobcat trips any time by selecting Bobcats Section in the CMC Trip Calendar pull-down menu. We send out a monthly email to our members with all the coming month's trips, just after those trips are activated. To join our free mailing list and become a member, select the "Bobcats Section" anytime in your Member Profile (Log-in >Members  > My Membership > Member Profile).

We will meet in Coors Tek parking lot at 6:00 am for a 6:15 departure. Coors Tek is cross the street on the east side of the AMC/CMC building in Golden. We will car caravan from there.  Here is a Google Maps link to the Coors Tek Parking Lot location https://www.google.com/maps/place/CoorsTek+Parking+Lot/@39.7585769,-105.2244406,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x876b9b4f14d7fb43:0x4a97fb65e66391e2!8m2!3d39.7585728!4d-105.2222519?hl=en&authuser=0

Driving miles from Coors Tek Parking Lot to Hessie Trailhead is 68 miles. 68 miles x $0.30 per mile = $20 per car to be divided between the driver and passengers.

We will hike from the Hesse Trailhead, then follow the King Lake Trail for about 5 miles.  The last mile will be along the Betty and Bob Lake Trail.  This is an in and out hike.
