Intermediate Alpine Climb – Hallett Peak - Flattop Mountain Trail
We'll plan to ascend to Hallett Peak via the Flattop Mtn Trail from the Bear Lake TH. The climbing objective/location might change, depending on the weather forecast for the date. All trip participants will receive an email for additional details and updates.

Hallett Peak can be incredibly windy during all months of the year. I might change to objective/location of the activity, depending on the weather forecast and anticipated snow depth in the Park.
We'll meet at the Bear Lake TH in RMNP - ready to hike by 7 am. Sunrise in Eastes Park is around 7:20 am on 12/27/2025. A carpool option can be provided, depending on where participants live along the Front Range (or elsewhere).
