Intermediate Alpine Climb – Mt. Bancroft via Loch Lomond
A technical snow/rock climb of the East Ridge of 13,250 ft Mount Bancroft starting from the winter Lock Lomond trailhead. Will include snowshoeing, a rappel, a pitch of 5.2 rock, and much Class 3 and 4 scrambling.

Participants will need to be skilled at steep snow climbing, scrambling class 4 in alpine terrain in mountaineering boots +/- crampons, rappeling, and technical rock climbing (not leading). CMC scrambling/alpine climbing, snow climbing, basic and intermediate rock climbing badges or equivalent experience required. Contact the leader for approval to join this trip.

at 7 am on Saturday. Leader may camp somewhere nearby Friday night.
Required Equipment
Crampons, ice axe, mountaineering boots, snowshoes, helmet, harness, PAS or 120 cm sling, belay/rappel device, rappel back-up loop/third hand, at least 3 locking carabiners, radio if you own one.
