LIT hike for Hannah Korrell

Join us for an early morning hike to start the new year strong! This will be a moderate ~3 mile hike to Panorama Point, which follows single track trail through evergreen forest, ascending to the route’s high point with views of Mount Blue Sky. We will aim for a fairly strong pace (depending upon conditions) so we can stay warm.

Following the hike, we will have an optional coffee stop for an opportunity to reflect on our 2025 accomplishments and look ahead to our goals for 2026.

This will be a winter hike (possibly snowshoe, conditions depending), so come prepared with layers, microspikes/poles, and the 10 essentials. Trip Leader will advise on conditions closer to the hike date.

Route: Here is a Link to the route on Alltrails

Please review the route details carefully. Although this is an easy/moderate trail, we will be moving at a moderate pace to stay warm. We will have a quick layer check/break at approximately 1 mile, and will also take a moment to pause at the overlook before descending back to the trailhead.

Meeting Point: Participants are encouraged to carpool due to the small parking lot at the trailhead. We will meet at the Morrison PnR at 7:00 am, departing promptly at 7:10 for a 7:25 arrival at the trailhead.
