Nordic Skiing – Grand Mesa - County Line Nordic Trails

We will ski a couple of hours on relatively flat terrain. We'll start on the Dog Loop without our dogs and transition to other easy trails.

This ski day will be for those who are beginners or for those who are trying out new equipment.  We will take it easy and no one will be left behind!  Elementary tips will be provided.  If you have questions about the level of experience required, please contact the leaders.  The purpose of this trip is to get out and enjoy being on the snow with others.

Meet at County Line Trailhead at 11:00.  Meeting at this time will allow the snow and roads to soften up and it won't be so cold!  For those coming from Grand Junction, please meet at the Doubletree Hotel parking lot on Horizon at 9:45.  

For all others coming from the south, carpooling information will be provided at a later time.

Skis, boots and poles; bring a lunch and water; wear warm layers.  Sunglasses and a warm hat are a must.
