Octo Hike – Flying J Ranch
This is an Octogenarian (Octo) Hike for those who have aged out of normal CMC hikes, or anyone who finds CMC's Easy A hikes more than they want or can do. Octo Hikes are slower paced and have shorter distances with less elevation gain than typical Easy A hikes. Octo Hikes typically include a social lunch at a local cafe or using picnic tables after the hike (TBD.) Of special interest at Flying J is a recently completed Forest Management Project which, if you haven't seen it, is worth the trip.
