Octo Hike – Garden of the Gods
Celebrate Veterans Day with an Octogenarian Hike at Garden of the Gods. Combine multiple paved trails to form a loop while viewing an old city reservoir, North Gateway Rock, Kissing Camels, and Siamese Twins. This is an Octogenarian Hike for those who desire shorter mileage, lower elevation gain, slower pace and more frequent stops. Non-octogenarians are welcome just be aware the pace may be slower than that to which you are accustomed.

The hike starts from the North (Main) parking lot.
The hike is a loop and is featured in the CMC Pack Guide "The Best Colorado Springs Hikes" listed as #3. We will add distance to the published route by taking an extension trail described in the Pack Guide to the Siamese Twins.
Hikers are welcome to go to the Visitors Center after the hike.
Meeting Location: Cabelas off Ridgegate Dr & I-25 S - far East parking area
Meeting Time: 8:45 am for 9:00 am departure
