Patio Program 'Women of Roxborough from 1850 - Present'
In celebration of International Women’s day, at the end of the hike we’ll stop by the special 'Women of Roxborough from 1850-Present’ patio program presented by Volunteer Naturalist (and CMC Trip Leader) Louise Campbell-Blair. We’ll hear stories about the amazing women homesteaders who worked this land in the 1850s all the way through to the women who negotiated the land purchase, mapped the birdlife, planned the trails and managed the park. The patio program is from 10-noon.

Meet at 7:45 am to the side of Safeway at 8355 N Rampart Range Rd, Littleton, CO 80125. Here is a Google Map Link

We will carpool into Roxborough State Park as there are limited parking spaces especially on weekends.
Each car must have a CO State Parks Pass (aka Keep Colorado Wild). It’s 4.5 miles from the Safeway to the Park. Restrooms are available at the Visitor Center.
