Loveland Basin offers varying terrain for all levels of telemark ski skills.  Practice your "drills" on more gentle terrain and/or join skiers on more challenging slopes.

Required Equipment

Telemark Skis with ski leashes to attach from bindings to boots.

Strongly advise wearing ski helmet.

Dress accordingly--Loveland can be wicked windy and cold or springlike warmish; come prepared to be comfortable.

If desired, bring your lunch (leave in car) or buy it in the lodge.

Loveland does not rent telemark equipment.  If you rent from town, try boots and skis on at the rental shop and at home before arriving at Loveland.
