RMOTHG Trip – Alderfer/Three Sisters
At 6 miles / 1000 ft elevation gain the "Twin Sisters Big Loop" is an outstanding and varied route - with smooth wide flat sections interspersed with steep, rocky ascents and descents. The route includes several 200- to 300-foot rolling hills, so it's a great hill workout. Highlights include amazing views and rock formations as well as visiting the remains of the early 20th century settlement of Blairgowrie and "The Realm of Victoria." Estimated hiking time: 4 hours.

Meeting Place: 470 & Morrison Rd (CO 8): 3485 S. Rooney Rd, Morrison, CO
From the Morrison Rd (CO 8) exit of 470 go west towards Morrison. Take immediate right on South Rooney Rd. Dirt Parking Lot is directly on your right across from the gas station/convenience store.
