RMOTHG Trip – Clear Creek Trail

This is a out and back hike on a paved path between the Gateway and CCR trailheads on the Plains to Peak Trail west of Golden. Our pace for this hike will be relaxed with no one left behind.

This is a very busy trail for walking, running and biking.  After a lunch break at the CCR Trailhead we will return to the cars via the same route unless there is unanimous interest in making a short detour on the Church Ditch (dirt) Trail.

In addition to the 10 essentials, please bring plenty of water, food for a lunch break and trekking poles if you are used to them.

We will meet at 8:30 am at the Gateway Trailhead located on Hwy 6 just west of the mouth of Clear Creek Canyon.
