RMOTHG Trip – Deer Creek Canyon Park - Plymouth Mountain

This 6.5 mi / 1400 ft-gain hike to the top of Plymouth Mountain starts at the Deer Creek Canyon TH in SW Denver (Littleton). It's a great uphill workout with scenic and expansive views along the way. We'll hike up and loop around Plymouth Mountain by way of the Meadowlark, Plymouth Creek and Plymouth Mountain trails. There's a nice little spur trail out to a scenic overlook that is perfect for our lunch break. Estimated time to complete: 4 hours.

Weather report is currently projecting a high of 96 degrees and Sunny on Wednesday - and the route has quite a bit of sun exposure. That's why we are starting early!  Be sure to bring sun protection and at least 1.5 qts of water. (I'll probably be splashing my head in Plymouth Creek along the way!)
