RMOTHG Trip – Elephant Butte
This is an out-and-back 6.6 mile / 1800 ft elevation gain climb up to Elephant Butte in Three Sisters Park in Evergreen - from the East Trailhead. Steep and rocky some may need to use hands for balance. It's been described as "a darn good glutes/thigh workout!", but rewarding with spectacular views at the top.

This hike can be quite challenging for those who do not have good balance and stability - due to the highly rocky and steep nature of the trail. Please consider this - as well as you aerobic / physical conditioning - for this hike.
Meeting Time: 8:30 am
Meeting Place for Carpooling: Morrison PnR (3485 S. Rooney Rd, Morrison, CO) From the Morrison Rd (CO 8) exit of 470 go west towards Morrison. Take immediate right on South Rooney Rd. Dirt Parking Lot is directly on your right across from the gas station/convenience store.
