RMOTHG Trip – Leavenworth Mtn From Guanella Pass Road

This 7-mile / 2200' elevation gain climb starts at 9500' on Guanella Pass Rd. Old roads and trails through abundant remnants of the 19th century mining era lead us to the East ridge. We'll then follow the ridge to the summit – which includes some off-trail bushwacking at the end. Pavilion Point is an added attraction. Pace will be steady, brisk 1.8 – 2 mph with minimal stops.
