RMOTHG Trip – Missouri Lakes
Starting at the Missouri Lakes Trailhead we will enter the Holy Cross Wilderness and make our way up a well defined trail. The first part of the hike is treed and we will be following the Missouri creek. There will be some glimpses of views, beautiful wildflowers and waterfalls. At the three mile mark we will encounter our first of three beautiful alpine lakes and the views will have opened up. We will travel to the 3rd lake which will be our turn around, have lunch and begin our trek back down the same trail we came up.
