RMOTHG Trip – Three Mile Creek

We will follow Three Mile Creek to the large meadow at the 4 mile point. This is a beautiful fall hike with cool mornings and wonderful aspen. Along the way we will cross the stream close to a dozen times on various log crossings.

You will need to feel confortable crossing over numerous log bridges of various crude construction.  

We will meet at the Morrison Park and Ride, located at the intersection of C-470 (Rooney Rd) and Morrison Road.  Meet at 6:45 for a prompt departure.

Bring your 10 essentials and lunch.  Trekking poles are recommended for the water crossings.  Plan on changing weather conditions.  We are following a creek so the morning dampness can be cold and late October normally has cold mornings and warm afternoons.
