Rock Climb – Elevenmile Canyon
As the weather moves towards the sunny summer weather, let's get out and climb in ElevenMile Canyon (near Lake George, CO) at ElevenMile Dome. Pikes Peak Group (PPG) Climbing Members have sign-up priority for this trip. MUST HAVE: CMC's "intermediate climbing badge" or higher Trip plans to end by 3pm, or whenever people get tired, or weather decides

MUST HAVE: CMC's "intermediate climbing badge"
Would like (but not necessary): Lead-belay, Leading, rappelling and 'various' cleaning skills
MUST DO: Stay within your realm of comfort/training/knowledge
There are options for the following types of climbing:
Sport Lead; Trad Lead; Multi-pitch (recommend Communication Device)
Routes are very long, and you will need a 70m rope or longer (with knots in the ends of the rope or a "closed" system)
Meet at the parking area of the crag at 9am (38.945, -105.392).
Access cost: $11 cash per car (some interagency passes gets in 1/2 price -- Does not accept state park passes)
Carpool (options):
7:45am at the Old Colorado City Safeway (3275 W Colorado Ave, 80904)
or
8:35am Dirt lot parking prior to canyon access road (38.9685926, -105.3638096) -- we can always pack in cars to gain access to canyon.
If carpooling, please bring cash for gas and access to canyon. And notify me at least 1-day prior to trip if planning to meet us at a carpool location.

Required Equipment
Personal Climbing gear: helmet, harness, ATC with locker, PAS, and climbing shoes
Bring (if have): quickdraws, rope (70m+), anchor and any other gear you think you would like to bring or use (i.e. Trad gear/aid/ascenders, grigri, rockytalkies, clip stick, etc)
10 essentials: snacks, water, and sun protection
