We will do the "Kindergarten Traverse" which is a super fun scramble/climb in the Garden.

This is primarily a scramble with a couple of short roped sections for safety. Knowing how to build an anchor, use slings, and do top and bottom belays is helpful. The actual rock climbing is minimal with only a couple of 5.0 moves however, there are a a few airy spots that are exposed climbing.
We will meet at the main parking lot at the southwest corner of 30th St and Gateway Road at 8:30am. We will then drive to park a vehicle at Lot 10, then drive back around to Lot 5, 6, or 7 to begin from the west side of Gray Rock at 9:00am.
Required Equipment
Helmet, harness with PAS, and a couple locking carabiners along with your annual Garden of the Gods climbing permit required. The leader will bring a 60 meter rope and anchor material.
Bring a least a liter of water, maybe a snack or two, and a wind/rain shell.
