We will ascend the Class 3 East Ridge of Fr Dyer continuing on to Crystal before beginning our decent.

Woolly Mammoth parking lot FACING the gas station at 0600hrs.  Section BB. A parking lot leader will be necessary. Meet Summit County hikers at the Safeway parking lot in Frisco, facing the store at 0715 hrs. We will park at the main Spruce Creek trailhead and start walking up the Spruce Creek road for approx 0.1 mile turning right onto the Crystal Creek road and walk 1.3 miles to reach a junction with the Wheeler trail, near 11,400'. Fr Dyer is visible ahead of us at this point.
