Scramble – Lenawee Mountain

Lenawee Mountain starting at the Lenawee Trailhead, ending at A-Basin. depending on weather conditions. (scrambling will not occur if ice or snow is on the ridge line).

As this trip involves a scramble, over and back to Lenawee from the Lenawee trail, but ONLY if conditions allow this to be done safely, helmets are required. Scrambling experience is required as this is not a class or a training exercise.  

Please make the leader aware if you need a clothing adjustment or snack break as all breaks WILL BE taken as a group to avoid multiple delays.   Please dress appropriately so that you will be relatively comfortable until group stops are made for clothing adjustments. CMC covid rules will be followed, if unsure of the rules please check the CMC website.  Any medical conditions that may impact the group, please discuss with the leader prior to the day of the scramble.  Should you need to cancel your spot on this trip, please contact the leader  by txt or email.

Wooly Mammoth exit 259 section BB at 0530 hrs. Across from the gas station. A parking lot leader has been assigned. Meet Summit County folk at the A. Basin parking lot 0630 hrs.

This flexible trip will be 6.8 miles/ 2077 ft if we do Lenawee trail to A.Basin parking lot. If appropriate to do Lenawee Mt add on 3miles and 1268 ft.
