IPW - Jasper Lake Trail

This is a moderately challenging trail that is 9.8 miles round trip, gaining 1,942 ft of elevation. You will see waterfalls, high alpine lakes, flowers and trees. There are views of near by 12,000 foot peaks.

The trail starts at the Hessie Trailhead, it is busy on weekends and a free shuttle is in place if parking is full. You are in the Indian Peaks Wilderness area, if you plan to spend any time overnight you need permits and have to pay. There are plenty of side trials to other lakes you can take as well.
