Little Bear Peak is a 14'er in the Sangre de Cristo Range, near the Town of Blanca.
Per 14ers.com, climbing Little Bear Peak (14,041') involves one of the most dangerous standard 14'er routes, due to very loose rock, so climbing it on a busy weekend is not recommended.
Furthest away start is from the Lake Como (Blanca Peak) TH. Difficult to very difficult road can take you further with the right vehicle so Alternate Titles reflect different starting points along the Lake Como/Blanca Peak Road.

- 8800' elevation (room to park) - 11.25 miles, 5400' gain - Class 4
- Lake Como (11,750' elevation)(little room to park) - Past here continues on the road to Blue Lakes, where the official Blanca Peak Trail (#886) starts - 3.5 miles, 2300' gain - Class 4
