Mt. Columbia
Mount Columbia is a 14'er in the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness, near Buena Vista.
Along with nearby Mount Harvard, Mount Yale, Mount Princeton, and Mount Oxford, Mount Columbia is one of five Collegiate Peaks named for prominent universities.
IMPORTANT: All routes enter the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness. Designated wilderness areas have special regulations and restrictions for party size, dispersed camping, campfires, and dogs, etc. If you have questions about the wilderness area, please contact the Leadville Ranger District at (719) 486-0749.
