All the trails were clear of mud, snow or icy conditions.
We successfully ascended the Cedar Gulch Trail to the Mount Galbraith Loop Trail. We proceeded counterclockwise so as to take advantage of some second class hiking, with a few steps of exposure. We transitioned onto the Mount Galbraith Summit Trail without incident and in good spirits. We enjoyed good views, light breezes, and a dedicated lunch break atop Mount Galbraith. We safely descended Mount Galbraith by using the Mount Galbraith Summit Trail, Mount Galbraith Loop Trail, and the Cedar Gulch Trail. We collected considerable waste both on- and off-trail with a group total of 1#-3#. We celebrated our return to the trailhead with good spirits and cheerfulness.
