Hiking – Deer Creek Canyon Park - Plymouth Mountain

This trip to Plymouth Mountain on June 4, 2025 was a very nice hike. We took the Meadowlark trail to the Plymouth Creek trail and then to Plymouth Mountain. We then we continued on the Plymouth Creek trail east and back to the the trailhead.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  • There was really a lot of mud on the last section of the Plymouth Creek trail about a mile from the trailhead - sticky, wet, gooyee, clay that was hard to walk through and it stuck to our boots. There were several 100 foot sections of this. It has been raining a lot and may take a few weeks to dry out. Jeffco may close this section of the trail.
