Join us for a special evening featuring keynote Tico Gangulee.
Between 2016 and 2018, Tico embarked on four thrilling journeys to Asia, each with the goal of pioneering new climbing routes. Two of these expeditions—one to India and the other to Pakistan—stood out as particularly remarkable. These adventures, while centered around the same passion, unfolded in strikingly different ways, each offering its own unique challenges and rewards. In Tico's talk, he will take you behind the scenes of these contrasting experiences, revealing the highs, lows, and the unexpected moments that made each trip unforgettable. Join us as he unravels the stories of rugged landscapes, cultural encounters, and the pursuit of the most epic ascents.
Don't forget to bring a dish to share as we connect with friends and enjoy a beer at New Terrain Brewing at the 2024 Annual Roder Dinner. All proceeds from the ticket registration support our education programs that promote mountain safety, helping us to continue providing essential training and resources. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate, be inspired, and support our mission!
***This is a potluck event. Beer and other drinks available for purchase from New Terrain Brewing. A special thanks to New Terrain for donating the space for our event.

Read More About Tico Gangulee Here: Tico began his guiding career in the Gunks during the mid-'90s and has since navigated a diverse career across every western state and five continents as a rock, alpine, and ski guide. With multiple degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, he is a certified IFMGA ski and mountain guide, an AIARE course leader, and a Wilderness First Responder with over 25 years of experience. His passions extend beyond guiding to include exploring new bouldering gyms and breweries, leading first descent expeditions, and competing in powerlifting. Tico also recently joined Colorado Mountain Club staff as a Youth Programs Instructor!
