Join CMC Youth Programs for an educational and exciting day of meeting the animals of Colorado! Students will rotate through three stations that will teach them all about the native animals in Colorado while utilizing their creativity and critical thinking skills. For this session, students will get to see and touch real animal fur, skulls, and antlers! (This offering could supplement Physical Science classes)
- Who: Students in 1st-6th grade
- When: Tuesday, January 20th (2026), 10am-1pm
- What: Colorado Mammals, Colorado Birds, Ecological Relationships
- Where: CMC Basecamp (15605 W 32nd Ave, Golden CO 80401)
- Cost: $30/non-member participant, $25/member participant
Registration Guidelines:
- All participants must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to participate.
- All participants must have an adult chaperone. Only one adult chaperone per group is needed. (for example, if you are transporting 4 participants, you can act as the adult chaperone for all 4 participants)
Adult chaperones are responsible for:
- Knowing of any allergies and handling any medications the participants may need during the program.
- Handle outlying behavioral issues that detract from the activity
- Listen to and reinforce safety guidelines outlined by instructors
- Supervise lunch and transitions during the day
