Gudy was not only a leader but also a prolific painter and potter. Hundreds of pieces of her art work and ceramics, plus many Colorado Trail and mountain mementos, have been donated by the Gaskill family. Items will be available for a donation amount of your choice (Really!) . You can own one of her original watercolor paintings, pottery pieces or whimsical ceramics.

Support either or both of these great organizations and own a bit of their history and the history of Colorado’s mountains. If you knew Gudy, worked on a trail crew, hiked a trail, climbed a mountain, ran a river or went on a trip with her you will know that she was always drawing and painting. She gave most of her art to those on the trip with her. Gudy passionately wanted both of these organizations to thrive, both protecting the mountains that she loved but also making them accessible, loved and valued.

You are invited and if you knew Gudy please invite friends who also knew her. You can share your stories with each other and even, if you wish, record a short story about Gudy to be archived as a resource for visitors to the future Gudy Gaskill statue that is in the design stage for downtown Golden, Colorado.
