The Eckart Roder Education Fund was established in 2003 in honor of Eckart Roder, a long-time member of the Colorado Mountain Club. Eckart exemplified the values of mountain safety, responsibility and courtesy. 

Join us for a night of celebrations and giving. Potluck dinner with drinks provided. 

Keynote Speaker: Karin Pocock  - Ultra Endurance Bikepack Racer

The first woman to finish the 2025 Pinyons and Pines race in Arizona (333-mile race), and third place finalist at the Tour Divide. She began working professionally in the mountains in 2002 and has spent the last 16 years as an outdoor educator, instructor, technical guide, ski patroller and avalanche forecaster. Karin also dedicated over a decade of this to working as an instructor, course director and staff trainer for Outward Bound schools across western North America in addition to her guiding.
