Meeting place and time

  • Meet Up Time: Alpine Start: 5:45am (BE EARLY and Ready to Drive Away at 6am)

This activity is limited to Senior and Assistant Instructors of the 2024 Alpine Scrambling Courses.

This is a mandatory Instructor Field Day for all Alpine Scrambling Course Senior and Assistant Instructors. We will practice all skills that course students are expected to exhibit during the course. All participants will be expected to practice and demonstrate ice axe self arrest skills. In addition to the skills practice, we will scout Fox Mountain to determine the best locations to demonstrate dry land scrambling skills for students. Prepare for a full day. 

NOTE: There is a $20.00 parking fee at St. Mary's Glacier.
