Level 2: Scramble Field Day – Mt Bierstadt
This is the second of two progressive Scramble Field Days for students currently enrolled in Alpine Scrambling Course Denver. Students must successfully complete Level 1: Scramble Field Day to attend Level 2: Scramble Field Day. Scrambling involves long, strenuous days covering 9-13 miles with high elevation gains (2-3,000') Be prepared for an all day adventure and bring your winning attitude.

Note: High Use Area; Beyond Leave No Trace: Think about collecting trash, bring a bag, on your descent.
Take Mt. Bierstadt West Slopes route to the summit of Mt. Bierstadt and traverse the Sawtooth Ridge to Mt. Evans. Depending on time, the group can reverse the ridge to Mt. Bierstadt or descend a western gully to return to the cars.
