Field trip: Alpine Scrambling Course

Student Skills Field Day (Snow/Rock) – American Mountaineering Center

The objective for this field day depends upon the outcome of the student skills days at St Mary's Glacier on the weekend of 5/18-19. 1) For a weather cancellation on 5/18-19, this will be the backup date for skills practice. 2) If there are no weather cancellations and there is student interest, this activity will be a bonus Level 1 scramble. 3) If there are no weather cancellations 5/18-19 and there is not enough student interest, this activity will be cancelled. Students are expected to be available the weekends of 5/18-19 AND 6/1-2, as participation in the skills day is mandatory to proceed to the scrambling field days.
