- This step of your CMC Trip Leader Journey comes after you have finished the Trip Leader School Online Skills Course and completed Wilderness First Aid. The Trip Leader School Scenario Session field day is a prerequisite to leading your Leader in Training Hike and getting signed off as a CMC leader.

The objective of this Scenario session is to review and discuss best practices for all things related to being a CMC trip leader.
We will meet at 8:30 in Golden (parking/meetup location to follow). After brief introductions, we will take a leisurely hike along Clear Creek Trail to the Peaks to Plains trail, then up Clear Creek Canyon to Tunnel 1. There are restrooms along the way.
We will stop periodically to take turns reading and answering trip scenario questions. On the way back, weather permitting, we will stop at picnic tables to discuss incident reporting, trip leader best practices and responsibilities, and your next steps. Plan on 3.5 hours from start to finish.
Watch for a pre-trip email, a couple days prior, with additional details, including parking information.
