Intro to Hiking Safety

An introductory seminar to the hiking safety basics.

Please pre-pay by credit card if you are registering prior to the seminar.  Walk-ins are welcome.  Cash only at the door and exact amount please!

Come join us for our one-night seminar about how to stay safe in Colorado's backcountry including (but not limited to):

**the many aspects of safety you need to be aware of including subjects such as lightning, animal encounters, getting lost (or staying found), cold weather gear, staying warm, hypothermia, dehydration, being stranded overnight.

**many other safety topics.

Seminar is at the Colorado Mountain Club BaseCamp, 15605 W 32nd Ave, Golden CO  80401

6:30 pm to 9 pm

In Golden, turn EAST on 13th Street off of Ford Street.  Yes, you will be skirting around the Coors Plant.  13th turns into 32nd Ave.  Drive 2.8 miles to intersection of 32nd & McIntyre.  Our building is on NW corner of that intersection.  Parking in front of building.   Yes, it looks like a former church as it was one!
