Campers will meet at Baby Doe Campground on Monday, August 8.  Check-in is 2:00 PM.  Check-out is 12:00 PM on Thursday, August 11.  Information will be sent to all campers regarding food assignments, including plans for the first evening of the campout. Specific directions to the campground will be provided to all campers a couple of weeks prior to the campout.  Campers are responsible for their own transportation to the campground.  Campers are responsible for their own camping equipment.

If a selected participant registers for the trip, and cancels at a later date, there will NOT be a refund.  CMC's policy is no refund for an event costing $35 or less. Please see CMC cancellation policy.

We have reserved almost all of the campsites in one loop of the campground.  All campsites will be shared with other members of RMOTHG.  Please remember that we are representing RMOTHG and CMC, and respect the rules of the campground as well as the other campers.

Because we are full, we will not be able to accommodate guests or additional campers at the campout.  As identified in the newsletter, only RMOTHG members are allowed to attend.  Pets cannot be accommodated.

Activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, etc. will be offered.  Remember your equipment to participate in the activities that are of interest to you.  Our campground is located at high altitude.  Remember your sunscreen, bug repellant, clothing layers.  It may be warm during the day, but quite chilly at night.  Rain is also a possibility at any time.

Please bring your senior national park pass.  The campground host will most likely want to see one for each campsite, even though you didn't reserve the campsite.
