About the presenters:

Sheryl Lampert has been a dedicated Colorado Mountain Club volunteer, trip leader, and school director since 2011. She has been one of the most prolific instructors teaching the technical classes offered by the CMC, earning her the 2023 Gudy Gaskill “Woman of the Year” award. In addition to her roles in the Technical Climbing School, Sheryl has also served on the CMC Board of Directors since 2022. While not volunteering with the CMC, Sheryl loves to climb - she’s climbed around the world including Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua, and Denali.

It’s this combination of personal intensity and approachable humility that has really made Sheryl a leader to new members of the Colorado Mountain Club. She has spearheaded transforming Denver’s Alpine Climbing School (ACS) with a clear vision on how it can be useful to all aspiring climbers in Colorado with focus on building diversity and inclusion, especially for womens+ members.

Jenn Bealer is an avid outdoor enthusiast with a deep passion for mountaineering. Originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, she traded the East Coast for the Rocky Mountains in 2009. With a BFA in Metals/Jewelry/CAD-CAM, Jenn's professional career in the jewelry industry brought her to Colorado, where she has become a prominent figure in the climbing community.

A dedicated member of the CMC since 2018, Jenn has amassed an impressive climbing resume. She has stood on top of numerous 13ers, all the 14ers, and climbs in all the seasons, completed all four Grand Traversers, and logged over 362+ summits above 9,000 feet. Her mountaineering adventures extend beyond Colorado, with summits in California, Washington, Oregon, Mexico, and Tanzania, culminating in a successful Denali ascent in 2024. A skilled Alpinista and the Director of Denver’s Glacier Travel School, Jenn shares her expertise as a CMC trip leader and continues to explore new heights. When she's not in the mountains, Jenn enjoys spending quality time with her husband and huskies while discovering new hiking trails
