Class will cover: gear overview, ice climbing ratings, anatomy of ice tools and crampons, ice climbing movement, and proper climbing technique for swinging ice tools and kicking in crampons.

Class is from 6:30p - 9:00p in the Colorado Springs Fire Department Station 18 Community Room (6830 Hadler View, Colorado Springs, CO).

Required Equipment: If you own your own alpine boots and are planning on using the club's crampons, please bring your boots to the meeting so we can fit the crampons.
