Gore Range Group

As our name says, many of our members live in the shadow of the magnificent Gore Range in Summit and Eagle Counties.

For Summit and Eagle Counties' Communities

As our name says, many of our members live in the shadow of the magnificent Gore Range in Summit and Eagle Counties. Members from as far south as Salida and north to Kremmling and from out of state are also part of our group.

The most important aspect that has always united the members with the club is the pleasure of movement in nature, the uplifting excitement of mountain, peak and river experiences and the companionship of people who share those interests.

We strive to provide a wide range of summer and winter activities responding to our members preferences. Our most popular and successful activities and events include hiking, biking, mountain- climbing, back-packing, float trips, downhill, telemark and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, backcountry hut trips, training

clinics, picnics and even adventures into the canyons of southern Utah.

Our Group also gives back to our communities by volunteering for highway and trail cleanups. A Gore Range Group Newsletter is sent out 4 times a year and we rely on email for updates about trips.

We welcome adults of all ages, abilities and interests.
