Adventure Travel

Adventure Travel Website

CMC Adventure Travel trips are educational, cultural, and eco-sensitive, led by experienced leaders who know their destinations. Adventures range from easy walking, hiking, cycling, and skiing to challenging climbing, hiking, mountain biking, and backcountry skiing requiring good physical conditioning, skills, and training.

Prices range from budget-conscious to custom upgraded adventures, and small groups provide the highest quality experience.

If you dream of skiing the Canadian Rockies, bicycling through Holland’s tulips, hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, or a safari to Africa, a Colorado Mountain Club Adventure Travel Trip is for you

Why Travel with cmc?

  • Value: Our volunteer leaders work hard with local guides to provide competitive trip pricing.
  • Small Groups: Smaller group sizes mean a more personal, close-knit and meaningful nature experience.
  • New People: Meet adventurers with similar passions and make lasting friendships!
  • Active Adventures: Stay in shape with pre-trip activities and feel rejuvenated with active vacations.
  • Variety: We offer a wide range of experiences, trip lengths and accommodations.
  • Experienced Leaders: Our leaders plan all of the details and work with local guides to deliver the best possible experience.
  • Contribution: Your adventure supports the nonprofit work of the Colorado Mountain Club - conserving wild places and educating all ages in the outdoors.
