Hiking – Roxborough State Park
We will hike the Fountain Valley Loop with an option to extend to the South Rim and Willow Creek Loop. The Fountain Valley loop is 2.6 miles with 344 feet of gain and the South Rim/Willow Creek is additional 2.8 and 465 feet of elevation gain. We will go with what the majority chooses but we will be returning to the starting point after Fountain Valley in case you only want to do that.

Tour of Edgar Experimental Mine (Colo School of Mines), Idaho Springs
A tour of the experimental mine used by students from the Colorado School of Mines for research and training in mining techniques and systems. Over a half-mile of workings underground representing 100 years of mine development are covered on the tour.
