Telemark Ski School - Denver - 2024 SESSION B

Nordic Skiing & Backcountry Skiing/Splitboarding Course

Telemark Ski School

The Telemark Ski School has over 40 years of providing quality instruction to hundreds of students from all over Colorado and beyond! We help beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level telemark skiers learn and/or improve their telemark skiing skills. This is YOUR year for telemark skiing--come join the fun!

CMC Member: The cost of $155 includes School tuition of $80 and your nonrefundable Loveland Ski Area lift ticket of $75.*

Non-CMC Member/Guest: The cost of $195 includes School tuition of $80, your nonrefundable Loveland Ski Area lift ticket of $75*, and the non-CMC Member/Guest fee of $40.

*If you already have a Loveland Season Pass or a Loveland 4-pak lift ticket and don't require a lift ticket, contact the School Director for a promo code to deduct the cost of $75 from your registration total.

The Telemark Ski School (TSS) offers 3 separate Sunday sessions, one each in January, February and March; all sessions are at Loveland Ski Area.  We begin each session by grouping you with others of like ability and assigning you your instructor for the day.  The second and third TSS sessions in February and March may find you in a higher-level class, dependent on your practice and improvement from session to session.  Look for "Tele Tuesday at Loveland" telemark practice days and occasional backcountry telemark practice days in-between the sessions, all located in the Denver Group Trip Schedule.  Some instructors will be on hand to offer telemark tips to you, if requested.  More Telemark Ski School details will be covered in emails sent to registered students. The best way to use the School is to take at least two of the Sunday sessions and practice in-between.  But taking all three is even better!

GENERAL SKIING ABILITY

You must be able to comfortably and safely get on and off of a ski chairlift and be comfortable skiing green terrain. You don't have to be able to telemark on the green terrain, but you do need alpine/downhill skiing skills. This is not a "how to ski if you've never skied" course.

If you don't have telemark equipment (skies, boots, poles), you'll have to rent it.
