We will step back in time as we follow an historic mining tramway route. We will explore the history of Colorado's gold rush days along the trail and visit some old mining structures and equipment left behind.

Hiking – Reynolds Park

Reynolds Park is a beautiful Jefferson County open space. We will be walking on several trails through the forest and along some little creeks. At the crest of the Oxen Draw trail we will get out of the trees and enjoy a great view toward, SE , all the way to Pikes Peak. Depending on the conditions, we might need snow shoes or micro spikes.

This is a fun trip through woods. Once we reach the IPW boundary, terrain opens up and weather may dictate. Plan on at least 6 miles RT.
