Introduction to Risk Management Part 2

Boulder Group is pleased to announce another offering from the Boulder Risk Management School. This session, which is part 2 of a two-part course, will cover the basics of Preventative Search and Rescue (PSAR) and then present an overview of the CMC's Incident Management System. The first portion of the course will provide an overview of Risk Management and a practical Risk Management framework for trip leaders, it is being offered 8 Jun 630-8pm. Separate sign-up for Part 1. The CMC Risk Management Badge will be awarded upon completion of both Part 1 and Part 2.

Although incidents are rare on CMC trips, when one does happen the situation can be chaotic and overwhelming for both the trip leader and the participants. The CMC's Incident Management System is designed to "bring order to the chaos" and provide a framework for managing the incident.

Attendance is deliberately being kept small to facilitate discussion. We plan to run this program frequently, so please check back for future offerings if this one is full.
