Join the Northern Colorado Chapter of the Colorado Mountain Club for an engaging evening with Andy Nelson from Colorado State University Outdoor Programs. Andy Nelson is the Director of Outdoor Programs at Colorado State University, bringing over a decade of experience teaching students, guiding clients, and collaborating with outdoor professionals in Northern Colorado’s mountains. In addition to his work at CSU, Andy guides and instructs for regional guide services including Colorado Mountain School and Colorado Adventure Guides. His avalanche education background includes teaching with the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) and the American Avalanche Institute (AAI) as well as training and education with the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA).

This free event will be held in the back warehouse at Breckenridge Brewery in Fort Collins, which has a full kitchen for those who are interested in dinner. Social from 6:00-6:30 p.m. Program from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Signs will be posted in the brewery to direct guests to the event location--if you're unsure where to find us, please ask the staff and they will point you in the right direction!
