7:30am: Join me at the Wooly Mammoth CDOT Park and Ride, 18560 U.S. - 40, Golden, CO 80401. Form carpools and depart by 7:45am. We will meet at the Lewis Ridge Trailhead, 2855 Bergen Peak Drive, Evergreen, CO 80439 with a trailhead orientation and departure by 8:15am.
Required Equipment
Ten Essentials. I also recommend gaiters, trekking poles, traction devices for snow packed and icy trail conditions. Wear a warm base layer, insulating midlayer, and a waterproof outer shell - pants and coat. I also recommend everyone bring an extra pair of shoes to change into at the end of the hike.
