This is a pretty flat trail. There is a reasonable chance that we'll have to hike over one or two short sections of road that don't have enough snow.
We'll likely ski at least 1.5miles up the road before turning around.
Meet at the Frisco Kayak lot at 6pm to carpool to the Boreas Pass trailhead.
As the date gets closer, this trip may move forward or back a day to accommodate weather and snow conditions. It is also possible, but unlikely that we might move to a different trailhead with better snow conditions.
Required Equipment
Please bring skis with fish scales. Skins on this road will be slow. Nordic skis or AT/Telemark skis with fishscales should be fine. Dress warmly for the evening ski. Bring a headlamp, but we hopefully won't need the headlamps.
