This is a Leader-In-Training Trip for Dorothy Kucar to get her "Backcountry Ski Trip Leader" badge.

Starting from the parking lot at Berthoud, we'll go across the street, skin up ~600 or so and ski down the west side. Maybe do a 2nd lap. Then we'll come back across the street and do a lap or two on the east side. We will stick to mellow slopes and avoid avy prone terrain. Regardless, please have your Beacon-Shovel-Probe and know how to use them!
